War: Knighties: Nick's six get a little Nick fix
Time: Monday afternoon- 2ish
Place: Loft

    Knighties Gem and Mindy sat by the piano, wistfully mourning this turn of
 events. Finally Nick had been Nick again, but then it had been replaced so
 quickly with Schanke that the Knighties hadn't even had time to spend with
 their Nicky.

    As the two sat wondering about the current situation, a wicked smile
 crossed Gemsong's lips. The Nicksicles! "We can order some Nicksicles", she
 told Min.

   "Didn't the Mercs have some at the Raven's party?" Min replied.

   "I think so", Gem responded.

    "Lets order a couple of cases so the new Knighties can have a taste of
the
 good stuff.", Min told her friend.

   Gem picked up the phone while Mindy went to inform the newbies that they
 were in for a pleasant surprise.  What a war this was turning out to be for
 them, brand new to the faction and their Nick had been AWOL most of the
time.
  Not even the traditional puppy pile had taken place yet.

   Gem returned from her phone call to let everyone know the parcel should be
 arriving in a few hours.  Now the Knighties just had to figure out how to
pay
 the Mercs for their service, and the goodies.  Since they didn't take
credit,
 Nick's gold card was out.

    No, this was going to require Gem's special 'Double Death by Chocolate'
 cookies, and of course, several pounds of Ghiradelli from the stockpile kept
 for such emergencies. She went to get the cookie mix that she had packed as
 her just in case we need it for something like this . 'I guess I'm glad I
 did,' she thought to herself as she brought the bag to the kitchen.

   "Who wants to help make cookies?" Gem and Mindy both said in unison. "We
 don't have much time, if we want to have them ready by the time our delivery
 gets here", Gem added.

   Kristin and Beth jumped up to help and the cookies were done just in time.
 The doorbell to the loft rang signaling the arrival of a Merc with a couple
 cases in tow.

  A collective gasp rang out through the loft as the Knighties realized just
 who was at their door. It wasn't just *any* Merc...but the Merc Mommy
General
 herself, Mildredcad. Wow.

   As if on cue, Nickbod emerged from his room and stood at the top of the
 stairs running a hand through sleep mussed hair and staring toward the Merc
 Mommy.

  Nickbod smiled a charming smile and strode toward her. "Well hello," He
said
 taking her hand.

   "Scha...uh, Nick, this is the Merc Mommy General, Milderedcad," Gem said.

  Schanke being the ladies man he is, and playing up his temporary home in
 Nick's bod...kissed the MM General's hand. Min took the opportunity to
gather
 the agreed upon payment, and present it to the Merc.

   After the MM General had left, Mindy and Gem gathered the newbies around
to
 taste the treats and giggled as the Knighties realized they were
anatomically
 correct recreations of their beloved Nick.

   Several of the knighties blushed, but continued to enjoy their Nicksicles.
 One way or another this war, they were going to get their Nick.
