War: Knighties: Pizza's In The Oven By Knightie Katrinka Time: Tuesday, about dinner timeish Donald Schanke was happy. He was extremely happy. He was the type of happy that made the Knighties very nervous. Not only that, but he had found another horridly clashing Hawaiian shirt. One by one the Knighties had fallen under the sway of Schanke. One glance was enough to make even the most die hard Knightie extremly happy. The cop had found a marathon of the British Cop show the B.S'rs, and had plopped himself on his favorite seat on the couch. Horrible seventies cops show type music filled the loft. Marla flinched as he turned the sound up. "Does he think we all want to watch that stuff?" Kristin watched from the kitchen. "That Foyle is such a hunk." The Knightie sighed. She was doing the dishes, the only Knightie willing to do the washing up. A group of Knighties where siting with Schanke, watching the program. "I'm not the hired maid!" "What do you mean?" "I'm the only one that will do the chores!" "What do you think we should do about it?" Kristin smiled. "I know! Let's have a sing along!" Marla threw down her towel. "I'm quitting!" "Happy, happy, Joy Joy! Happy Happy Joy!" Kristin sang as she danced around the kitchen. Marla stomped into the living room. She stood in from of the Knightie leader. The woman looked at her. "I can't see Bonehead when you stand there!" "SO?" the Knightie shrieked. "Your supposed to be leading a faction, not watching some stupid seventies show!" "The B.S'ers are my favorite show!" "I thought Forever Knight was!" "I have more then one favorite." Katrinka said perkily. "Come on, get happy!" As one the Knighties began to sing the 'Happy, Happy, Joy, Joy song." "Your all NUTS! Your even more perky then the perks!" Marla shouted. Schanke got to his feet. He looked into Kirsten's eyes. "Come on Marla, watch the show with us. Get happy." Looking into Schanke's eyes, she realized that watching the television might not be that bad. She sat down, and joined in on the fun. ************************** Knighties Maria and Beth had spent most of the morning cleaning up the caddy. They couldn't believe so much stuff could accumulate in a car. "Looks like Nick likes to live out of his car." Maria said, as they took a trip to do the last part of their chore. Maria very nervously drove the caddy. "He probably doesn't have time to clean it." Maria made a quick glance back at their guests. A bunch of really large rats in cages. "I don't know how he got these in his caddy!" "Well, with all the junk, it would only be natural that rats would be around." Beth looked at the map. "There's a tunnel just around the corner." "Great." Maria drove where she was directed. After parking the caddy, the Knighties took the cages out. They carried them to the edge of the tunnel opening. "Are you sure he won't mind?" Maria asked hesitantly. "He won't even know we're here!" Beth said confidently. "But he'll see the rats." "Screed loves rats!" Beth opened one of the cages. The rats scrambled into the tunnels. Within a few minutes, most of the rats had run into the tunnels. Ten took off in the direction of Vachon's church. "We've got to catch them!" Maria gasped. They took off in chase. ********************** "Hey girls, let's have a pizza party!" Schanke said with some enthusiasm. "What do you want on your pizza?" "I love ham and pineapple on mine, also pepperoni and extra cheese. And if we Do Domino's, perhaps the new cini-sticks...they are fantastic. But please no Fungus or anchovies." Gemsong said with a curl of her lip. "No mold on mine either!" another Knightie agreed. "That's mushrooms!" Katrinka said. "Mushrooms are fungus!" Gemsong said firmly. "I like veggie pizzas. No hot peppers though." Sandra said. "Ham and olive on mine." Mindy said with a smile. "I take my pizza with peppers, red and green, and pepperoni." Brooksie gushed. "No anchovies or onions for me!" "I like just cheese, extra cheese." Kristin said under the hypnotic gaze of Schanke. "Kat, take orders for me." Schanke told her. "Sure thing!" The Knightie grabbed a pad and paper, and took orders. "Let's sing girls!" Schanke said with enthusiasm. The Knighties began to sing the "Happy, Happy, Joy, Joy" song, yet again. Twenty minutes a delivery boy from Aunt B's pizza delivered twenty various pizzas. The Knighties grabbed their pizza and began to congregate around the TV. Schanke picked up a piece and took a big bite out of it. Schanke spit out of the piece. "Oh this stuff is awful!" "What kind was it?" Marla asked. "It was supposed to have all the works, with extra garlic!" Schanke groaned. "That Nick with his weird tastes!" "Do you want a protein shake?" Sandra asked. "No, but I could kill for a couple of blood sausages." The cop smiled, his teeth fully extended. Sandra rushed and got a handful of blood sausages. The vampire ate the hungrily. *That was too close! * She sighed as she saw his teeth retracting. She wondered how long it would be before he realized she hadn't been whammied.
