Oh No! Not Again! By Knightie Katrinka Time: Saturday evening. It was Bastille Day. A group of Knighties where making blue-white-red banners. Tracey wore a tri color had that she had made out of paper. Katrinka sung songs in French. She was loud, she was off keyed. The Knighties didn't have the heart to tell their leader that she couldn't sing. The group was subdued, only doing what they had to keep their mind off of the problems that plagued the group. The remaining Knighties where watching the official Knightie movie Ladyhawke. Eowyn and Brooksie where sitting on the couch with Nick between them. By the vampire's request, they hadn't popped any corn. Nick had suggested a movie party, though the Knighties didn't' feel like it. But the smile on Nick's face had been enough to make even the depressed Knightie agree. "How's your stomach?" Mindy said from the floor, feeling guilty. "I have dim memories of being hung over. My stomach felt just like that." Nick groaned. "I feel like I ate a kitten, fur and all" "We're sorry." "Why would you be sorry?" Eowyn and Brooksie exchanged glances. They felt a bit guilty for putting LaCroix through the torture, simply because Nick felt the results. Nick was able to read the Knighties like a book. "Okay, what did you feed LaCroix?" "Danish?" Nick raised an eyebrow. "Is that all?" "Blood?" "You had to have added something to it." "Hot sauce." Mindy admitted. "He drank a bloody Mary." Nick looked green for a moment. "How much hot sauce?" "A bottle," The woman said in a meek voice. "Did he drink all of it?" Mindy nodded. "Yes!" "Someone fed LaCroix tofu." Nick tried to smile. "It could be worse. I guess." "We're sorry." Eowyn repeated. Nick hugged the Knightie. The woman could feel a shudder go through Nick. The vampire pulled away from her. "Darling, I hardly know you." The Knightie pulled away from Nick. "Sorry." The Knighties exchanged glances. They watched as Nick looked around the loft. "Let me guess, this is the loft." "Yes, it's the loft." Brooksie said slowly. "You're the Knighties." "Of course we're the Knighties." Nick put a hand to his head. "Oh great. This is just great!" "What's great?" "Who are you? What are you ladies called?" Mindy found herself introducing the group to Nick. "Who's that crazy chick singing those stupid French songs?" Nick asked pointing to Katrinka. "That's Katrinka, your faction leader." "*My* faction leader isn't' a crazy woman who sings off keyed in French!" Nick said firmly. "My faction leader is named Felicia!" "FELICIA!" Eowyn shouted. "Don't panic!" Brooksie said firmly. "Vachon isn't it?" Mindy asked. "Perhaps." The vampire got up; he went to Nick's motorcycle. He knelt down and examined it. "Perhaps I'm just confused. You can never tell."
