Great Big Meeting By Knightie Katrinka Time: Monday morning Takes place after: The Pain of Very Bad Fan Fiction Vachon in Nick's body is refered to as Vachon in this post Tracey came rushing into the loft, carrying a pile of manuscripts. Mindy close behind her, carrying a similar bundle. They emptied their arms on the kitchen table. Katrinka who was nursing a cup of coffee looked at them. "Did you get enough?" "Of course," Mindy said firmly. "A copy for every Knightie in this war." "Great, and what about the original?" "We need to lock it up. Too bad Nick doesn't have a safe." Tracey said. "I know where there's one." Katrinka took the original from Mindy. She went to the pantry, moved over a sack of rice. She opened the safe. Then placed the manuscript inside. Then she spun the dial. Just then, a group of tired Knighties came into the loft. Most of the Knighties went about the process of going to bed. A couple looked a bit worse for wear. They where followed by Nick. The devastatingly handsome vampire looked at the girls at the table and smiled. "Good morning ladies." Ever observant Mindy raised an eyebrow. "Morning Vachon." The vampire picked up a zine. He opened it, and flicked through it. He stopped a minute, reading it. "This stuff is awful." "You're right, it is." Tracey said. Gemsong picked up a zine. She too began to read. "Kat, you've lost your mind again. This stuff should be recycled." "Vachon, can we talk about a theory we have?" Tracey asked. "Perhaps later. I've got to sleep." He hugged the New Zealander. "I'll talk to you after my nap." The group watched Vachon go to the bedroom. The group watched the sentry as he did. Vachon smiled a bit, he shut the door. "So how was the party?" Mindy asked. Gemsong sat down. "It was really strange. There was a llama at the party." "A llama?" Katrinka said slowly. "That wasn't the worst of it." The redhead sighed. "Everyone was strange, really strange." "Define strange." Marla joined the group. "The party was just down right odd. Nothing seemed right about it." "The body switches you mean?" Tracey asked. "Not only that! Oh that wasn't the worst." Marla tried to find the word. "The party was like an Ed. Bwood movie. Bad, bad, bad!" "The food tasted strange, the drinks tasted like they where spiked with honey. A penguin came onto me. He told me he was a secret agent." Gemsong shuddered. "He called me several bad names when I refused." "Was the party like a bad fan fiction story?" Katrinka asked. "You're kidding!" "We need an honest opinion." Tracey said. "Was the party like a bad fan fiction story." "Yes! It wasn't like the world was right. It had changed." Marla agreed. "I suddenly enjoyed pretzels. I hate pretzels. But I liked them!" "It was really strange. No, it can't be." Gemsong shook her head. "Come on tell us," Katrinka urged. "There was this woman there. She wouldn't' tell us her name. But I heard her tell Maria that she loved pears-you know how much Maria hates them. Suddenly she's eating all the pears she can find." "The same strange woman told Beth that Beth wanted to dance. Beth danced for three hours without a break!" Marla agreed. "It was like someone was controlling the party." Eowyn said. "What if someone was able to change the universe through their writings?" Katrinka began to explain. "You know that can't happen," "But what if it where possible?" The leader handed Eowyn a zine. "The Land Of Fiction. By M. Sue Scientist. I think this Scientist was able to some how change the universe." "So what's the plan now?" Eowyn asked. "Everyone reads this zine, then we find the author!" Katrinka said firmly. "That should be our next mission, to find the woman who created this zine." "How can we do that? It's a big world." Marla pointed out. "Yes, it's a big world. But if you read the copyright information. You'll see that M.S. Scientist lived in Toronto." "So we see if she still lives in Toronto." Eowyn guessed. "Let's get to it then!" Katrinka began to read the zine yet one more time. Katrinka@flash.net AIM KatrinkaKnighties Acting Leader of the Knighties
