FoD: Why let a personality switch dampen a good time? 1/1 author: Cindy Brewer Time: July 15th Place: The Moose Lodge and The UF Hive, Julia and Lorna's b-day party Everyone and everything used with permission "Everybody ready?"Cindy asked as she stepped into the living room of the moose lodge. Six blank faces looked back at her. "Ready for what?"Kathy asked. "The UF's throwing a bash tonight for Julia and Lorna's birthday. I thought I told you guys."Cindy replied as she leaned against the back of the sofa where Leah, Tracy/Schanke and Senara were sitting. "No, you didn't."Spiff said as she came to stand next to Cindy. "With all the chaos of the personality switches."Cindy replied with a glance at Tracy/Schanke. "It must've slipped my mind, sorry. But if you guys want to go we have about a half hour to get ready." "The FoD's pass up an excuse to go to a party?"Leah asked with a grin. "Never." "Can I come?"Tracy/Schanke asked. Cindy nodded. "Sure, why not." "Is this black-tie?"Senara asked as she stood. Cindy grinned as she pushed away from the sofa. "It's the UF....I'd say anything goes." Twenty nine minutes later the FoD's were dressed to kill and ready to party. They locked up the Moose Lodge and piled into the black PT Cruiser (tm). ******** Senara pulled the Cruiser up the driveway of 28 Highlander Drive. Noting the address Senara wondered if someone in the UF was a Highlander fan or if it was just a coincidence. The FoD's could hear the music half way up the driveway. By the time they got out of the car and walked up the stone steps to the front door any conversation was done by yelling. Cindy pushed open the heavy wooden double doors and stepped into the foyer. "Wow."Kathy stated raising her voice to be heard as she looked around. "How'd we get stuck with the Moose Lodge?" Spifff elbowed her in the ribs. "There's nothing wrong with the Moose Lodge." Cindy ushered everybody out of the way of the crowd toward a small table with a phone. She pointed to her watch. "Let's meet back here around one."Cindy yelled as the FoD's huddled close straining to hear. "Anybody that wants to stay later can take a cab, okay?" Five heads nodded and the group dispersed. Senara hung back watching the various factions enter the Hive. Cindy snagged Ron's elbow. A dangerous thing to do to an Enforcer but then Ron was on their side. "Keep a close eye on Schanke....er I mean Tracy."Cindy ordered. "I don't want any more personality changes." Ron nodded and faded into the crowd. Senara raised an eyebrow as Cindy came to stand next to her. "So where to?" Cindy grinned. "Let's drop the gifts off and then head to the bar. Julia promised me an umbrella drink." end
