FoD: Colorful Cousins? 1/1

time: July 13th, late afternoon (back dated with
permission of the WM) directly following the Cousin's
posts of  "Mission Souvlaki".
Place: The Happy Souvlaki Deli

The FoD's and patrons gathered glanced up with concern
as Spifff came bursting out of the kitchen.
"Hey! I just had the strangest thing happen!"

The FoD's grouped by the counter looking at Spifff
anxiously. The petite blonde woman had splotches of
red on her apron.

"Are you hurt?"
"Did something explode?"
"Were we attacked?"

Spifff nodded. "Yes to the last question....I think."

"Sit down."Cindy ordered checking Spifff over for
injuries. "Are you hurt?"

Spifff glanced down at her apron and shook her head.
"That's Ribena."

Leah wrinkled her nose in confusion. "They attacked
you with Ribena?"

"No they interrogated me with the threat of
Ribena."Spifff explained as she took her chef hat off
and set it on the counter.

"What did they want?"Senara asked noticing that the
Deli had suddenly got very quiet.

Spifff shook her head in confusion. "I think they were
Cousins."

"Oh no."Cindy replied as she leaned against the
counter. "This was a response to my plaid attack."

Senara stared increadously at her friend. She hadn't
heard the details of the early morning attack on the
Cousins. "I never did hear the details.....what
exactly did you do to the Cousins?"

Cindy grinned. "Plaided them....or shall I say their
furniture."

Senara groaned. "You are insane....you've finally lost
it. All of their furniture is plaid?!"

Cindy nodded. "Yeah."

Spifff gestured toward the kitchen. "It might have
finally driven the cousins crazy too. Those three were
acting really weird. And go look and see what they did
to our food."

The FoD's followed Spifff into the kitchen and gasped.
Spread across the counter and stove were pots and
dishes filled with food that was of varying bright
colors.

"What the hell?"Kathy muttered as she peered at a vat
of bright orange tofu.

Senara picked up the bulk container of soy sauce.
"Look at the soy sauce....it's floursant pink."

Cindy turned to Spifff after looking at the supply of
flour which was now electric purple. "Spifff what
exactly were they looking for?"

Spifff shook her head. "Not sure....it was really
strange....they kept asking for the ingredients of
garlic free tofu souvalki. And every time I named an
ingredient they made it change color."

"That's weird."Cindy replied as she looked at the
mess. "Even for a war."

"So what do we do?"Leah asked quietly.

Cindy glanced at the clock. "At the moment nothing. We
have to get this cleaned up in time for the dinner
rush."

"Kathy, Spifff take this to the police lab use
Schanke's name."Cindy ordered as she spooned a sample
of orange tofu into a bowl. "We need to know if this
stuff is toxic."

"Right."Kathy acknowledged as she gingerly took the
bowl.

"So we're letting them get away with it?"Senara asked
starting to pile dishes in the sink.

Cindy shook her head. "No. If we don't get them back
this war we definitely will next war."
