Arletta glimpsed her reflection in a mirror as she headed for the
CERK lobby.  She was wearing the low-cut red velvet gown that
Jeanette had chosen for her to wear to the Fod party that evening.
It itched dreadfully, and she just couldn't really appreciate
Jeanette-in-Lacroix's refined fashion awareness.

Few of the Cousins could.

Most of the others were already milling about the lobby while waiting
for Lacroix's limo which was ferrying them to Rosedale, the suburban
location of the Fod mansion.  Several looked decidedly uncomfortable
in their carefully selected, Jeanette approved, evening clothes.

"Does it still smell bad?" Brandi asked, referring to the events
following the UF party.

"No," Tser assured her, then looked towards Cousin Shelley anxiously.
"Shelley, you *did* take care of that, didn't you?"

"The limo will be GREAT!  You'll see!" was the reply. Shelley nodded
enthusiastically to emphasize her words.

Arletta narrowed her gaze, and wondered just what Shelley was up to,
that answer had been just a little *too* enthusiastic.

Bonnie-New-Cousinly-Receptionist-and-PostIt-Enthusiast finished
scribbling a Post-It note that said 'gone to the Fod party' and
affixed it to the top of her desk in a prominent position before
joining the others. "Why are we waiting?" she asked.

"Stan's just gone to fetch the limo from the garage.  It'll be here
in a couple of minutes." Tok answered, then suddenly remembered
someone. "Tser, haven't you forgotten Jess?"

Tser feigned confusion.  "Jess?  Jess who?"

"Jess!  Cousinly Receptionist, Ever-Squeeky DieHard Jess.  Your sister,"
Tok replied, frowning.

"Oh, yeah.  I'll go get her now," Tser said, a defeated look on her face.
She'd hoped no one would remind her.  She dashed to the Padded Cell,
looking in the small observation window.  Jess was laying on the floor
within, giggling sporadically.  Tser sighed, and returned to the other
Cousins leading the now insane Former-Cousinly-Receptionist.  Jess was
secured by a big padlock and chains wraped around the chic black gown
selected for her by Janette.

Jess was muttering, "SSssCHhhhhnnnnRRRNNNNNnnnnnnn," until she
spotted Bonnie. "EVIL! The EVIL one who steals Post-Its," she
warned manically.

A somewhat startled Bonnie didn't know how to react to this unexpected
accusation (nor did she quite understand the meaning of it).  She looked
at Cerberus for an answer.

"Don't worry," Tser reassured her, "she's just our *last* Cousinly
Receptionist."

Somehow Bonnie didn't find this reply very reassuring.

"Ready everyone?" Jeanette-Lacroix asked as she entered with
a dramatic flourish.

Tok nodded in reply.

Just then, the limo pulled up by the door and they all left for
the party.














Tserisa: (5:23 PM) We need a "getting to the FoD party" post.  *All* the
Cousins are going, Jess in chains (she got put into the padded cell; see "A
Receptionist by any other name")... and Bonnie Pardoe, our new Cousinly
Receptionist as well.  She should probably be tortured a bit, at least by
being bothered by an insane Jess, and being told "Oh yeah, she's our *last*
Cousinly Receptionist" *g*
g4akl: (5:24 PM) when's the party ?  and where's it to be?
g4akl: (5:24 PM) are we all cramming into the new limo?
g4akl: (5:25 PM) is dress casual or jeanette torturning us *again* by
deciding we dress up?
g4akl: (5:25 PM) i assume jeannete-in-lc is going with us....
Tserisa: (5:26 PM) We'll dress up. Janette wouldn't have it any less. ;)
She's coming too of course. and it starts around 8ish, WM is going to post
her premise post around 9.  And yeah, lets say its a very big limo (there's
only about 19 of us, snicker)
Tserisa: (5:27 PM) oh, and at the FoD's mansion... umm... is that the same
place as Moose Lodge?
g4akl: (5:27 PM) want me to mention everyone, including bob and michelle
who havn't appeared in anything that i know of??????
g4akl: (5:28 PM) i dunno if it is the same place ... i read a post this
morning that made it sound like it *wasn't* the same place .... how'd
schanke get a mansion ... seems outa character
Tserisa: (5:29 PM) Naw, you don't have to mention everyone, just that
everyone's coming.. and at least mention Jess in chains (perhaps glaring
evilly at me) and be sure to get some Bonnie stuff in. I'll help you if
you'd like, I am just a little written out and can't post anymore ;)
Tserisa: (5:30 PM) I'm not sure. At any rate, WM is checking.
Tserisa: (5:30 PM) You may want to read "A Receptionist By..."  It has some
stuff in it. And Jess calls Bonnie evil.
g4akl: (5:31 PM) ok, i'll start a draft of it then ,get in touch either by
icq or email so you can have a look and can modify it any way you want,
just let me finish reading about jess first
